Seven personnel of Cilangkap Urban Village PPSU, Cipayung, East Jakarta cleaned up mud that clogged 40-meter channel on Jl. As-Syafi'iyah RT 06 and 07, RW 03, Monday (10/18).

We clean up mud with thickness about 30 centimeters

Cilangkap Urban Village Head, Nasir Sugiar stated, personnel used jack hammer to dismantle duiker (cast concrete) that was installed in front of people's houses and stalls in that location.

According to him duiker should be dismantled due to thick mud that clogged the channel. After dismantling duiker and cleaning the channel, personnel will re-install dui ker.

"Parts that have been dismantled are repaired by installing cast concrete as before, but now it is equipped with manhole," he added.

He hoped that by cleaning the mud, water on the channel wouldn't overflow onto the road.

"We clean up mud with thickness about 30 centimeters," he said.
