Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency built breakwater on the east side of Sebira Island, RT 04/03, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri deployed 10 personnel to build the breakwater.

"We use 1,000 massive cube blocks to build breakwater in order to protect Sebira Island from waves," he said, Wednesday (10/20).

He explained that breakwater on the east side of Sebira Island will be built along 25 meters. While the current progress has reached 16 meters.

"The work has been started since October 2021 and targeted to be completed by the end of this month," he conveyed.
