Channel on Jalan Matraman Dalam II Normalized

The Menteng Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, Central Jakarta is normalizing has started normalizing the water channel along Jalan Matraman Dalam II, RT 16/08, Pegangsaan, Menteng.

Menteng Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yopi Maidiza Siregar expressed, it is carried out by increasing the depth and width of the channel and installing a 100-meter u-ditch. It has been ongoing since October 11 and is targeted to be complete by the end of this year.

"Previously it was only 20 centimeters width with 30 centimeters length. We're currently repairing it up to 40 centimeters width and 60 centimeters height, including u-ditch installation," he expressed, Thursday (10/28).

By so, it was expected to be able to accommodate rainwater in large quantities in order to anticipate flooding in the rainy season.
