30 SMEs Enliven Bazaar at Makasar Embrio Market

East Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM)'s Trade Division Head, Partini said, they were business actors assisted by the PPKUKM Sub-agency. They were from Makassar Sub-district who sold various products at low prices.

"This bazaar is to help foster them promote their products," he stated.

He mentioned, most of them sell Betawi culinary products such as dimsum, srundeng, kebuli rice, pletok beer, tape ketan asri (fermented sticky rice), bandeng presto (grilled boneless milk fish), kembang goyang (flower-shaped crackers), etc. Visitors are busy in the morning, along with residents shopping at the Embryo Market.

"On the first day yesterday, the total sales turnover of the bazaar participants was Rp 10 million. I hope today we earn more," he stated.
