North Jakarta Vice Mayor Targets to Complete Sunter Selatan Reservoir On Time

The work progress has touched 50-60 percent

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Juaini Yusuf, conducted a working visit (kunker) to monitor the revitalization of the Sunter Selatan Reservoir, Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Sunter Jaya Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, on Tuesday (11/16). He was accompanied by related sub-agencies, as well as urban village and sub-district apparatuses.

He stated, it was done to ensure the work runs smoothly and according to the target completion time on December 15.

"The work progress has touched 50-60 percent. Our commitment is still on the track or precisely finish on December 15. To be on time, we ask the contractor to add more workers and working hours," he expressed.

He hoped that the reservoir as one of the icons in North Jakarta could restore its function and make it a location for recreation and jogging track for residents, including for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to conduct business activities.

"Hopefully the pandemic will end soon, the project will be completed on time and the traders can return to sell again around this reservoir," he hoped.
