West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-Agency Prepares 22 Wood Cutting Machines

West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-Agency has prepared 22 wood cutting machines for handling fallen or broken trees during this rainy season.

Wood cutting machines are very important to speed up wood evacuation process when the tree falls

West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-Agency Head, Jauhar Arifin conveyed, entering rainy season, his side was more aware of trees that had potential to fall or break. Therefore, his side prepared 22 wood cutting machines and 88 personnel to handle fallen trees.

1,500 Shade Trees in Indraloka City Forest Planted

"Wood cutting machines are very important to speed up wood evacuation process when the tree falls," he mentioned, Thursday (11/18).

In addition to wood cutting machines, his side also prepared 34 lawn movers, 15 bush cutting machines, 4 generator sets, 4 welding machines, 7 alcon pumping machines, 90 machetes, 20 crowbars and 90 hoes.

As for operational vehicles, his side deployed 20 dump trucks, 33 tank trucks, 1 ladder truck, 2 crane trucks, 16 pickups, 1 dirt bike, and 4 motor carts.

"Our preparation in form of personnel and equipment is one of anticipatory steps to make sure wood evacuation can be carried out as quickly as possible," he stated.
