1,500 Shade Trees in Indraloka City Forest Planted

Hopefully, this is useful for improving air quality in Jakarta and the surrounding community

As many as 1,500 shade trees were planted in the Indraloka City Forest, Jalan Mandor Hasan, RW 04, Ceger Urban Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

Cipayung Sub-district Head, Panangaran Ritonga expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the collaboration from PT Angkasa Pura II which had provided tree assistance.

Three Rain Garden Built in East Jakarta

"Hopefully, this is useful for improving air quality in Jakarta and the surrounding community," he expressed, after carrying out a symbolic procession of planting trees and spreading fish seeds in the Indraloka City Forest, Wednesday (11/17).

PT Angkasa Pura II Executive General Manager, Marsma TNI Nandang Sukarna disclosed, it is a form of corporate social responsibility to the environment or society.

"We donated 1,500 trees type mahogany and jati solomon, including 5,000 goldfish and tilapia seeds, as well as one pump water worth Rp 65 million," he explained.

According to him, tree plantation is an effort to preserve the environment in the capital, especially in East Jakarta. Apart from contributing to improving air quality, it also contributes to the conservation of the environment

"We feel happy to collaborate in environmental conservation activities, including in Cipayung area," he closed.
