East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is building inlet and outlet crossing at Giri Kencana Reservoir, Jalan Raya Pete, Cilangkap Urban Village, Cipayung Dub-district, on Sunday (11/21).
Its progress has touched 60 percent and we target to finish it in the forthcoming Desember
Maintenance Division Head, Puryanto said, those inlet and outlet are made using a box culvert measuring 150x150 cm. Crossing itself is connected with Cilangkap connecting channel (phb).

According to him, to create a good water management system, dredging is carried out at Cilangkap Phb Channel. It conducted up to three km with one to two meter width.
"Its progress has touched 300 meters. It is targeted to be complete by the end of this year. To do it, we use standard and mini excavators," he explained.
He added, it is
done to accommodate water in large quantities thus water can be flowed into the channel."Previously, the channel position was higher than the reservoir. That's we dredge it first thus water from the reservoir can be flowed. After it is dry, the reservoir will be dredged," he stated.
