30 Personnel and One Pump Alerted in Jatinegara

We will continue to be ready until the weather is clear

As many as 30 personnel and one floating pump of Water Resources (SDA) Task Force have been alerted at several flood-prone areas on Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/7).

Jatinegara Sub-district SDA Task Force Coordinator, Tamrizal said, they have been on standby since 5:30 AM. They were spread out in the front of the Patria Park Hotel to the front of the Jatinegara Sub-district office.

They assigned to clean up garbage from gutters and water channels at the location. Some also assigned to monitor the condition of the road bend across from Jatinegara Station and in front of the Jakarta Gems Center Akik Rawabening Center.

"We've been on alert since morning but flooding didn't occur when heavy rain poured. Around 7:40 AM, the weather is still pristine. We will continue to be ready until the weather is clear," he explained.

Aside that, one master mist floating pump was also prepared and placed in the SDA Task Force operational car.

As for the information, there were 15 personnel alerted last night until morning, at 11 PM to 5:30 AM considering rain with heavy level poured the capital city yesterday afternoon.
