Nakertrans Facilitates 2,028 Job Seekers to Take Internship Program

Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Agency has facilitated 2,028 job seekers for internship program.

Apart from improving their competence or skills, during the internship they can also get allowance

Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Agency Head, Andri Yansyah said, internship program was provided in form of competency-based training to prepare the prospective workers before working in companies.

"Apart from improving their competence or skills, during the internship they can also get allowance. Its amount varies depending on companies where the internship is held," he explained, Tuesday (2/16).

He hopes there will be more companies that can collaborate and contribute in improving job seekers' skills in career world. Including vocational internship which held independently for improvement in various competencies in Jakarta through internship.

"This program not only provides training, but also to absorb graduates in internship to be employees,"

He assessed that internship program also gives job seekers opportunities to improve their skills.

"Companies as internship organizers really help government in improving education and reducing unemployment rate through this domestic internship program," he stated.
