Sawah Besar Water Resources (SDA) Task Force normalized water channel on Jalan Lautze Dalam RW 07, Kartini Urban Village.

Sawah Besar SDA Task Force Head, Yusuf Sumardani conveyed, channel normalization had been carried out since November 29, 2021 and the progress has now touched 25 percent. Normalization was carried out by widening the channel from 30 centimeters to 60 centimeters.
"We normalize it along 180 meters with width and depth 60 centimeters. Before the channel was not working," he stated, Saturday (12/11).
Water Channel on Jalan Cempaka Jaya RepairedNormalization was carried out to follow up proposal from Kartini Urban Village because the surrounding area was often inundated.
"We deploy 20 SDA Task Force personnel from Sawah Besar Sub-district and heavy equipment in form of excavators to speed up normalization process," he explained.
This normalization work was targeted to be completed in early January 2022. Currently, the work has reached 45 meters or around 25 percent.
"By normalizing the channel, it is hoped that there will be no more inundation, especially during heavy rains since water can flow well to Lautze connecting channel," he mentioned.
