South Jakarta to Have Two New Reservoirs for Flood Prevention

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency has started building two reservoirs in South Jakarta since November 2021. It is targeted for completion by the end of this year.

Those two reservoirs are Brigif Reservoir on Jalan Aselih, RT 09/01, Cipedak Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district and Lebak Bulus Reservoir on Jalan Lebak Bulus V, RT 14/04, Cilandak Baru Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district.
Flood Management Division Head, Ericson Indra Pulungan, said two of the four reservoirs included in the 942 DV project are super priority activities through construction of nine polders, four reservoirs, vertical drainage (DV), and twice revitalization.
