Bank DKI Supports City in Implementing Financial Inclusion Program

Bank DKI fully supports Jakarta Provincial Government in increasing financial inclusion in Jakarta, particularly through One Account One Student (KEJAR) program, Jak Lingko Goes to School, and MSME Empowerment.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said his side has 1.2 million Number of Accounts for student savings (Simpel) until November 2021.

"It consists of 1.09 million KJP holders, 114,658 Simpel Savings account holders and 5,400 non-Simpel Savings and non-KJP savings accounts," he stated, Sunday (12/19).

Bank DKI was also campaigning for the use of Jakcard & Jak Lingko e-ticket cards for various modes of public service transportation, such as Transjakarta, Mikro Trans, Angkot Jak Lingko, MRT Jakarta, LRT, and airport/Railink train.

As a part of financial inclusion that has an impact on empowering MSMEs, he added,  Jakarta Government and Bank DKI also contribute by providing access to capital for entrepreneurs who are members of Jakpreneur program.

In this program, MSMEs will gain access to improve skills and independence in developing business potential, in collaborative ways between Jakarta Government, education, business, community, institutions, or other parties.

"Through micro loan e-form, Bank DKI provides convenience in submitting Bank DKI micro credit applications for micro entrepreneurs easily and safely via online," he mentioned.

Most recently, Bank DKI launched JakOne Abank at Santa Market, South Jakarta on November 25, 2021, which became a pilot project for market digitization through SIAP QRIS program carried out by Bank Indonesia.

According to him, JakOne Abank is an officeless banking service where Bank DKI is present through an agent using Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) device for paying taxes and retribution, paying bills.

"By becoming JakOne Abank, customers/traders who become agents can serve various banking transaction from public and earn commission from each transaction," he explained.

Furthermore, Bank DKI is also collaborating with Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Service Agency (BPPBJ) to support MSMEs marketing in Jakarta through e-order marketplace platform that can be accessed by Jakarta SKPDs/UKPDs and BUMDs.

"We hope these services can provide benefits for all of us, especially for MSMEs, as well as citizens who have easier access to capital and digital banking services to support Jakarta as a Collaborating City," he asserted.

For information, Jakarta Government won the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) Award 2021 as the best province in innovation to develop financial inclusion programs in urban areas from the Financial Services Authority.

The award was handed over by Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Financial Services Authority (OJK), Wimboh Santoso to Jakarta Governor, Anies Rasyid Baswedan in agenda of TPAKD National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) in Jakarta, on Thursday (16/12).
