No New Year's Eve Celebration in Ancol

On December 31, PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol will carry out operational restrictions in tourist site of Ancol, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta in order to prevent crowds of people who want to celebrate new year's eve.

At 14:00 we will sterilize the area from visitors, both in recreational sites, beach, and culinary areas

PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Acting (Plt) Corporate Communication, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho mentioned, Ancol will remain open on December 31 from 06:00 by selling tickets via online and implementing health protocols.

"At 14:00 we will sterilize the area from visitors, both in recreational sites, beach, and culinary areas. It is hoped Ancol will be sterile from visitors at 15:00. The same policy applies on January 1, 2022," he informed, Thursday (12/30).

This operational hour restriction policy is implemented to support government in anticipating COVID-19 transmission.

"There will be no special events related to new year's eve or new year's holiday in Ancol," he conveyed.
