Central Jakarta LH Deploys 255 Cleaning Officers

Central Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency will prpare 255 cleaning officers to handle garbage on new year's eve.

Central Jakarta LH Sub-agency Head, Marsigit stated, although crowds and convoy to celebrate new year's eve is not allowed, but his side still deployed personnel to anticipate piles of garbage.

"We are still preparing hundreds cleaning officers on new year's eve and reminding people to stay at home and avoid crowds," he explained, Thursday (12/30).

No New Year's Eve Celebration in Ancol

His side focused on deploying cleaning officers in Tugu Tani, Bundaran HI, Dukuh Atas, in front of Indosat Building, around Istiqlal Mosque, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Patung Kuda, Sarinah, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, in front of Grand Indonesia, and Jalan Haji Jiung Kemayoran.

"All personnel and vehicles will be prepared starting 19:00. We will see the situation later. Deployment will be optimized to anticipate pile of garbage," he mentioned.
