East Jakarta Receives 47 Jakarta BPBD's PRC Personnel

East Jakarta Government received assistance in form of 47 personnel from Rapid Response Management of Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (PRC BPBD) who will assist in disaster management in East Jakarta region.

This is to anticipate casualties during disaster, as well as to speed up post-disaster handling

Those personnel were handed over by Jakarta BPBD Head, Sabdo Kurnianto, to East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Hendra Hidayat accompanied by East Jakarta Assistant for Administration and Public Welfare, Achmad Salahudin.

Jakarta BPBD Agency, Sabdo Kurnianto mentioned, PRC personnel were deployed as an effort to accelerate disaster management in East Jakarta.

In addition to personnel, his side also prepared rescue equipment such as tents, boats, flashlights, isolation booths, and others.

"There are 297 PRC personnel deployed throughout Jakarta. This is to anticipate casualties during disaster, as well as to speed up post-disaster handling," he explained.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Assistant for Administration and Public Welfare, Achmad Salahudin informed, those 47 PRC personnel will be on standby at Mayor Office to work in shifts every day in rooms that have been prepared.

"PRC personnel will assist and cooperate with other task forces related to disaster managements in East Jakarta.
