Channel Construction in Srengseng Urban Forest Reaches 30 Percent

Progress of 400-meter channel construction work in Srengseng Urban Forest Area (KHK), West Jakarta, which has been started since November 17, 2021 has now reached 30 percent. This project is targeted to be completed in April 2022.

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Coordinator, Lukman Hariadi mentioned that channel will be built with height of 2 meters and upper width of 150 centimeters. Later on, channels from residential areas will be connected with this channel and flow to Srengseng Urban Forest Reservoir.
"The work has been carried out by 14 SDA Unit personnel since November 17, 2021," he stated, Tuesday (1/11).
