Floods in West Jakarta Quickly Handled

Four mobile pumps had managed to overcome flooding on Jalan Tanjung Duren Raya, Tanjung Duren Utara, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/18).

Previously, the road was flooded between 30-40 centimeters when heavy rain occurred in the afternoon.
West Jakarta Mayor, Yani Wahyu Purwoko said, flooding occurred due to high rainfall. "Four units are alerted to suck up flooding to be streamed to the Grogol River," he expressed.

Similar condition was also spotted on Jalan Daan Mogot, precisely in the front of the Samala Hotel, Cengkareng Timur, Cengkareng.
"At the site, we deploy a mobile pump," he explained.
He continued, as many as two stationer pumps had also been deployed to RW 01 and 02, Rawa Buaya, including three mobile pumps to Tegal Alur.
"From two pumps, each of them is sent to Pegadungan and Jalan Panjang Greeh Garden," he continued.
In RW 01, Semanan, he deployed a stationer pump. There were also mobile pumps to Perumahan Citra 1, Kampung Bali, RW 03 and 04, Kalideres and in RT 03, 04, 05/RW 03, Pegadungan, Kalideres.
"Thus far, we have deployed 49 mobile pumps at 29 points, including 13 floating pumps and 205 personnel," he closed.
