JIS is Temporarily Closed for Public Visit

The Jakarta International Stadium is temporarily closed for public visit from January 30 to February 15 to accelerate the construction progress and preparation for JIS Soft Launching in February 2022.

PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) President Director, Widi Amanasto stated, the International Youth Championship (IYC) football tournament would be held to enliven JIS Soft Launching by inviting Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid U19, and Indonesia All Star.

"Tournament will be held next month. Therefore, JIS will be closed from January 30 to accelerate its construction," he asserted, Friday (1/28).

Entering 123rd Week, JIS Construction Project Touches 93.85 Percent

He mentioned, the football tournament promoted by Jakarta Experience Board (JXB) would be held without spectators. As a venue provider, his side ensured the event would go well according to plans and regulations.

"Committee and preparation for the match are handled by JXB. While we provide the venue," he added.

For information, the current progress of JIS construction project in Papanggo, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta has touched 96.5 percent.

"Its progress almost touches 97 percent. All that's left is retractable roof and stand," he conveyed.
