South Jakarta TP PKK Holds Vaccination Program for Children and Elderly

The South Jakarta TP PKK is collaborating with related units to hold the vaccination drive for children and elderly in the PKK Melati Jaya Building's basement, Jalan Kebagusan Raya, Pasar Minggu, on Friday (2/11). It is attended by Center TP PKK Chairman, Tri Tito Karnivian and his subordinates.

Our target every day is around 200 to 500 people

South Jakarta City Secretary, Ali Murtadho said it was realized in collaboration between the South Jakarta TP PKK with the Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) and community institutions in the context of boosting vaccination.

"Our target every day is around 200 to 500 people," he expressed.

183 Residents Get Booster Shots at Tamplas Bambu RPTRA

According to him, the percentage of achieving the first and second doses in South Jakarta was around 80 to 90 percent. While the achievement of the booster is currently around 16 percent.

"Hope we are able to touch people from ten sub-districts and collaborate with all stakeholders to boost the booster program," he said.

South Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, Essie Feransie Munjirin explained it has been opened from February 6 until today.

"We target to serve around 250 people per day. Alhamdulillah, until this noon, as many as 150 people have been vaccinated," she explained.

Hopefully, it could speed up vaccination in South Jakarta.

"Healthy greetings from us, hopefully the Covid-19 pandemic will end soon," she hoped.
