43 Companies in South Jakarta Ignore Health Protocol Rules

The South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-agency has noted that as many as 43 companies across South Jakarta have received written warnings and have been shuttered temporarily from January 11 to February 21.

29 companies are subject to written warnings and the rest are closed,

South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-agency Head, Sudrajat expressed those companies were punished due to low compliance with health protocols.

"29 companies are subject to written warnings and the rest are closed," he expressed, Wednesday (2/23).

He explained most companies did not put QR codes with the PeduliLindungi application.

"Other violations include no integrity pact, non-essential category office employees do not apply a work pattern of 50 percent working in the office following PPKM level 3 rules," he explained.

He added that they reasoned that it was difficult to process QR codes to avoid sanctions but the officers still gave punishment.

"We do not indiscriminately take action. If they still make the same mistake, other strict sanctions will be imposed on them," he added.
