16 Parks in South Jakarta Reopened at Limited Capacity

As many as 16 parks or green open spaces (RTH) in South Jakarta have been reopened for public during PPKM Level 3.

We limit visits to only 50 percent

South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-district Head, Winarto said each visitor should implement health protocol rules when visiting the parks.

Those parks were including Mataram, Ayodia, Kebagusan, Gandaria Tengah V, Mataram Timur, Sriwijaya, Tabebuya, Swadarma, Langsat, Puring, Ragunan Zoo, and Sangga Buana City Forest.

"Officers are alerted at the park entrances to monitor the implementation of visitor health protocols. We limit visits to only 50 percent," he expressed, Sunday (2/27).

His party had also conducted research or surveys before the parks were opened.

"We looked at the conditions around the park and ensured the availability of health protocol facilities and infrastructure, including the provision of hand washing facilities and personnel on duty," he explained.

He added visitors should be required to scan barcodes at park entrances, wash hands, take body temperature, maintain distance, and wear masks.

"Every weekend, we evaluate the implementation of the opening of dozens of parks to the public. Thus far, visitors have complied with health protocols to curb the spread of Covid-19," he said.
