Total 20 personnel of Gambir Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit, Central Jakarta were deployed to dredge mud from a 720-meter-long channel, starting from T-Junction of Jalan Batu, Jalan Muhammad Ikhwan Ridwan Rais to Ciliwung River next to Arya Duta Hotel.

"This channel has a width of 80 centimeters and height of 1.2 meters with mud thickness of 40 centimeters. We dredge it to anticipate inundation," he stated, Friday (3/4).
