The dredging work on Ciliwung River West Flood Canal (KBB) on Jalan Tenaga Listrik, Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta has reached 80 percent.

Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Head, Achmad Daeroby stated, dredging has been carried out since March 2011, from Jalan Pintu Air Karet until Jalan K.S. Tubun along 1,047 meters.
"We are targeting to complete it this year," he mentioned, Thursday (3/3).
South Jakarta SDA Optimizes Reservoirs and Rivers DredgingIt was carried out with a depth of 1.5 meters. It was estimated around 55,282 cubic meters of mud would be dredged from the site.
"Every day, we dredge and transport 44,062 cubic meters of mud," he added.
His side deployed 20 personnel and 3 amphibious excavators, 1 long arm excavator, and 10 dump trucks for dredging the Ciliwung River.
"We expect it can increase the river's capacity and can be completed on time," he said.
