Traditional Market Peddlers to Pay Kiosk Rental Cost Via Auto-Debet

Traditional market peddlers managed by PD Pasar Jaya will use an auto-debet system to pay the kiosk rental cost. The system scheduled to be applied in 153 traditional markets in Jakarta in January 2015. 

To support auto-debet system, the PD Pasar Jaya cooperates with seven banks, namely DKI, BRI, Mandiri, BNI, BTN, OCBC-NISP and BCA.

"The cash management system via auto-debet is a program of PD Pasar Jaya, which is in line with the city administration's policy where its payment via non-cash transaction," said Director of PD Pasar Jaya, Djangga Lubis, on the sidelines of the signing of the PD Pasar Jaya Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with seven Banks, at City Hall, Monday (12/8).

Later on, the billing is planned to be done on December 20. The cost is adjusted for the cost of which has been set by each market.

Lubis claims the application of market management cost payment via cash management system will simplify the peddlers because they no longer have to pay using cash.

Through cash management system, he continued, PD Pasar Jaya can also reap benefit and monitor information about the billing activity in real time. "Using this system, PD Pasar Jaya can prevent the leakage of funds from the peddler," he asserted.
