The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Agency and the Seribu Islands Regency conducted exploration in several tourist sites in Seribu Islands.

Parekraf Agency Head, Andhika Permata expressed that the visit was done to further explore several potential tourist islands as natural tourist sites to be developed as new tourist attractions in Jakarta.
"This is part of a small attraction, one of the potential islands in Seribu Islands, which we are ready to promote as a new tourist location for Jakarta," he expressed, Friday (3/11).

Then Panjang Island, which is currently being renovated and developing a location in the form of a sacred tomb to be made one of the religious tours.
"And Macan Island, which is one of the best islands that has a uniqueness that is very friendly to the environment and is very segmented and natural," he explained.
Related to the decreasing number of Covid-19 cases in Jakarta and its surroundings, he invited tourists back to visit the Seribu Islands while implementing health protocols. The promotion would be reintensified to recover the economy.

Seribu Islands Regent Junaedi positively welcomed exploration activities to promote tourism in Seribu Islands.
"Hope it can bring good results and revive the tourism sector here," he hoped.
