BMKG: Thunderstorm in Parts of Jakarta in the Afternoon

The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted thunderstorm in parts of Jakarta today.

Beware of rain accompanied with lightning and strong wind in West, South, and East Jakarta this afternoon

"Beware of rain accompanied with lightning and strong winds in West, South, and East Jakarta this afternoon," as quoted from BMKG's official website, Saturday (3/12).

In the afternoon, thunderstorm is expected in South, East Jakarta; moderate rain in West Jakarta; light rain in Central, North Jakarta; and partly sunny in Thousand Islands.  

Rain is Expected to Fall with Lightning in Parts of Jakarta

In the evening, light rain will fall in South and East Jakarta, while other regions, such as West, Central, North Jakarta, and Thousand Islands will be partly cloudy.

Then at tomorrow's dawn, light rain is expected in Thousand Islands, while other regions will be cloudy.

Today's temperature in Jakarta could reach 24-33 degrees Celsius with humidity 75-95 percent.
