1,187 Land Certificates Distributed in Makasar Sub-district

East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar and BPN Head Sudarman, symbolically handed over as many as 1,187 land title certificates issued collectively to residents at the Makasar Sub-district office through the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.

Those 1,187 certificates are distributed to residents in 53 RWs

The mayor said the issuance was done to avoid cases of land disputes. This program was launched by the central government through City Budget (APBD).

To support it, he facilitated counseling, socialization of the formation of the PTSL team with the urban village, and conducted data collection in the community, as well as provided assistance to the registration process to completion.

2,100 Land Certificates in Makasar will Be Issued Through PTSL Soon

"Those 1,187 certificates are distributed to residents in 53 RWs," he stated, Tuesday (3/15).

Thus far, the certificates that have been issued in his zone were 5,000 from the target set at 7,800 plots of land. Then the rest would be done as soon as possible.

East Jakarta BPN Head Sudarman added he needed support from the East Jakarta administration to smoothen the program, including from RT/RW administrators.

"We need their help to promote it to the public thus the file is complete," he explained.

One of the certificate recipients Siwi Widayanti admitted she was grateful and thanked the Jakarta Governor, East Jakarta Mayor, sub-district head, urban village head, and BPN for making it easier to administer the certificate through PTSL for free.

"Hope this program is prolonged thus the underprivileged can have a land certificate for free," he hoped.
