Some 13 personnel of the Ciracas Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit are repairing the collapsed retaining wall on Jalan Duku, RT 09/03, Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village, Ciracas Sub-district, East Jakarta, Wednesday (3/16).

Ciracas Sub-district SDA Unit Head Yulia Indah mentione d the retaining wall with a length of 17 meters and height of 190 centimeters was collapsed due to high water discharge during heavy rain last Sunday.

"We use river stones to repair it," she informed.

It would take about 50 days to complete. Her side planned to install sloofs for every three meters between the upper and substructures to make the construction more solid with a height of 190 centimeters on the substructures and 150 centimeters on the upper structure.

"We make two sloofs because there is a prayer room above the retaining wall," he conveyed.
