Booster Vaccination Rate in Thousand Islands Reaches 56.46 Percent

The Thousand Islands Regency continues to intensify COVID-19 vaccination in its region, especially for the third dose/booster.

We are targeting residents aged 18 years and over

One of its efforts is to provide vaccination centers in health facilities, sub-district, RPTRA, and government offices.

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency's Person in Charge of Vaccination Ulinuha Setya Darmawanti stated, up to March 16, 2022, about 56.46 percent or 10,852 out of 19,220 targeted residents had received the third dose.

"We are targeting residents aged 18 years and over. While residents aged 6-17 years just receive the second dose," she informed, Friday (3/18).

Of 25,566 targeted residents, as many as 24,940 of them had received the first dose and 22,620 others had received the second dose.

"We will keep intensifying cooperation with local administrators. We urge people who haven't been vaccinated and haven't received the third dose to visit vaccination centers," he mentioned.
