East Jakarta Satpol PP to Intensify Operation during Ramadan

Some 550 officers of the East Jakarta Satpol PP are ready to launch the operation in 10 sub-districts during Ramadan.

It will be conducted in early and mid-Ramadan, including ahead of Eid al-Fitr

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head Budhy Novian said the operation was aimed at anticipating unwanted things, especially make people comfortable in carrying out fasting.

"It will be conducted in early and mid-Ramadan, including ahead of Eid al-Fitr," he said, Friday (4/1).

He added some officers would also be deployed to monitor the crowded points like in East Flood Canal (KBT) area, Pasar Rawamangun, jalan Jenderal Urip Sumoharjo, Jalan KRT Radjaman, PIK Housing Complex, Pasar Rebo Flyover, PGVC Cililitan Intersection, TMII Gate I, and other locations.

"Officers are also prepared to anticipate the outdoor pre-dawn meal events known as sahur on the road on protocol roads," he stated.
