It is believed that the relocation of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) to Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan will not change Jakarta as a city of culture, arts, tourism, and business.
Jakarta has been the center of the economy and trade for a long time
Betawian Cultural Ridwan Saidi assessed that Jakarta would continue to grow, even though it was no longer the capital city. Therefore, the man who is familiarly called Babeh asked the public not to worry about it.
"Jakarta has been the center of the economy and trade for a long time," he expressed.

Thus, there was no need to worry and depend on the title of the state capital.
Moreover, Jakarta is also known as a city center for cultural tourism as well as education and history. One of the historical tourist sites in Jakarta, namely the Sunda Kelapa area. There are museums, inscriptions, and old buildings.
"It would be nice if the Sunda Kelapa area could be revitalized again to attract more visitors," he explained.
He was sure the relocation of the capital would make Jakarta a better place, where the economic sector could grow, as well as tourism, arts, and culture sectors would also develop.
"So, it's better if historical and tourist places in Jakarta start to be developed and improve now, don't wait for the capital city to move," he closed.
