Send Your Aspiration through Smart City Concept

Jakarta Government will launch the smart city concept on upcoming December 15 to accommodate quickly the aspirations or complaints from the citizens. By the concept, the citizen can report all problem in capital such as flood, traffic, trash pile, and so on.

Mara Oloan Siregar, Jakarta Governmental Assistant, said besides the citizens, the officers are also required to understand the application. Because the officer shall respond quickly to citizens report through smart city system. "The system will be launched on upcoming December 15," said Siregar at City Hall, (12/10).

Now, Siregar added, his side still socializes the smart city system to urban village and sub district officers. At least 43 urban village and sub district heads joint the socialization. They were chosen because their areas are prone of flood.

"The flood-prone areas are region with the highest complaint. By this system, urban village and sub district heads can be easily assessed. Evaluation for them will be based on how fast they respond the complaint," Siregar explained.

The 43 participating urban villages head are Karet Tengsin, Cililitan, Cawang, Pasar Rebo, Kalianyar, Jembatan Besi, Bukit Duri, Pengadegan, Pasar Manggis, Palmerah, Setiabudi, Kebon Melati, Guntur, Kampung Melayu, Petamburan, Kebon Sirih, Senen, Pejagalan, Kota Bambu Selatan dan Cideng.

While the 16 sub districtd head who join this socialization are Pancoran, Tebet, Grogol, Jatinegara, Jagakarsa, Gambir, Pasar Minggu, and Tambora.

Agus Bambang, Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Public Relation (Diskominfomas) Head stated, there are two applications prepared. Namely rapid application response of public opinion that to be downloaded by the officer and the application for citizens namely qlue (beta).

"There are two applications, one for officers and one downloaded by the public," he said.
