People's Welfare Assistant Uus Kuswanto said that the Jakarta administration through Jakarta Public Policy Center encouraged all elements to imagine together, then convey inputs and ideas for Jakarta in the future.

"The education sector is a basic service business that must be met by the government, either central or regional in providing complete and quality services," he expressed, Thursday (4/14).

He furthered the education sector should be prepared as well as possible in terms of accessibility and quality in a bid to meet global education standards in order to face the challenges of Jakarta in the future as a global business and economic center.

"I am sure that today's webinar will provide very useful input in preparing Jakarta for the future, especially for the education sector," he stressed.

Jakarta Disdik Head Nahdiana explained education has become a basic need that cannot be separated from city development. Jakarta's goal is to create a business city and a national economic center on a regional and global scale that is sustainable, cultured, and upholds justice, and prosperity.

"Talking about city development relates to human development. Education is the key to preparing existing human resources," she explained.

To realize it, several pillars should be prepared, one of which was prosperity and progress for local and global people.

This pillar covered the basic needs of society throughout the guaranteed life cycle; world-class education and health and a safe, comfortable and welcoming city for all.

"The big idea of Jakarta's education is equal and world-class education for all," she closed.
