Jakarta to Provide Accurate and Fast Population Administration Services

The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency ensures a faster population administration service for Jakartans that only takes only 15 minutes if all required documents are complete and the internet network signal is running well.

For example, previously it took 1 hour to a few days to process the ID card (KTP) but now it only takes 15 minutes to complete.
Jakarta Dukcapil Agency Head Budi Awaludin asserted that the agency would continue to make improvements in accelerating services, from 15 minutes, 30 minutes, to 60 minutes.

"We are committed to providing the best service for Jakartans and carrying out population administration services with applicable standards. This service can be completed quickly if applicants have completed the requirements and have good internet speed," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release, Monday (4/18).
He assessed that the service was accelerated for time efficiency. If Dukcapil services could be completed faster, applicants could carry out other activities on the same day. He wanted Jakartans to find it easy and fast to access population administration services.
He mentioned that Jakarta Government received Independent Dukcapil Pavilion (ADM) machine
from the Ministry of Home Affairs for Jakarta Dukcapil Agency's excellent service to the public.ADM handover would be carried out by the Ministry of Home Affairs Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, S.H., M.H. to Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan soon.

1. Utilization of population data access that has been approved by the Directorate General of Dukcapil, Ministry of Home Affairs
He asserted that Dukcapil would optimize the services and speed up the processing population accurately.
The optimization in service is according to Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency Head Decree No. 71/2022 about Guidelines for Completion of Population Administration and Civil Registration Services of Jakarta Province, which was issued in March 2022.
Acceleration in the service would be realized through improvements in officer performance and work patterns.
"Simply put, the officers will immediately process the required documents thus the service becomes fast. With fast, accurate, and complete service according to its duration, the more Jakarta residents that can be served, thus they don't need to queue for too long," he conveyed.
Moreover, his side also optimized the Alpukat Betawi application, from 50 documents, now it could handle up to 100 documents to fulfill people's demands related to the civil registry.
The Agency also provided door-to-door service to assist residents in managing their population documents.
