Lebak Bulus Terminal is Ready to Anticipate Surge in Eid Travelers

The management of Lebak Bulus Terminal, South Jakarta has anticipated a surge in travelers during this year's Eid by deploying 20 additional bus fleets.

If there is a surge in passengers, 20 additional buses are ready to transport them from Lebak Bulus Terminal

Lebak Bulus Terminal Head Hernanto Setiawan conveyed that his side had coordinated with the bus company (PO) to anticipate a surge in passengers during the Eid homecoming exodus.

"If there is a surge in passengers, 20 additional buses are ready to transport them from Lebak Bulus Terminal," he stated, Friday (4/22).

He estimated that passengers departing from Lebak Bulus Terminal would increase by two times during this year's Eid homecoming period compared to normal days.

"On normal days, there are around 20-30 buses that depart from Lebak Bulus Terminal. So, we prepare 50 buses to transport Eid travelers," he said.

Therefore, his side had also coordinated it with related parties to prevent crowds of passengers and AKAP bus fleets in Lebak Bulus Terminal.

"The surge in Eid travelers at Lebak Bulus Terminal as a crossing is predicted to take place on D-1 with several destinations on Java Island," he mentioned.
