Illegal Buildings in Duri Pulo Demolished by Their Occupants

The project of inspection road construction at RW 07, 08, and 012, Duri Pulo Urban Village, Gambir Sub-District, Central Jakarta, forces all illegal building occupants to demolish their buildings.

From a total of 450 buildings, today there are about 150 permanent and semi-permanent buildings being demolished by the owners

“From a total of 450 buildings, today there are about 150 permanent and semi-permanent buildings being demolished by the owners. The demolition process is still running now. The rest of building owners have a week more until Monday (12/22) to demolish their buildings. We prepare trucks to pick up the building debris,” uttered Head of Gambir Sub-District, Fauzi, Sunday (12/14).

Not only provides truck to pick up the building debris, Central Jakarta Administration also facilitates the people affected by this project to return to their hometowns.

“We will provide bus for them to return to their hometowns and also give aid for the children who are still studying in school,” stated Fauzi.
