BPBD Intensifies Health Protocols Monitoring in Terminals and Stations

The Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has deployed 60 personnel to assist in intensifying health protocols monitoring during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

For the next 8 days, we will be coordinating with BNPB in carrying out health protocols monitoring

Jakarta BPBD Head Isnawa Adji mentioned that those personnel were alerted at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Pulo Gebang Bus Terminal, Gambir Train Station, and Pasar Senen Train Station.

"For the next 8 days, we will be coordinating with BNPB in carrying out health protocols monitoring, including for deployment since personnel will work in a shift," he conveyed, Friday (4/29).

Passengers at Lebak Bulus Bus Terminal Soared Drastically

According to him, travelers should comply with health protocols to prevent them from being exposed to COVID-19. Moreover, they would meet their family and relatives back home.

"Our personnel will work persuasively and humanely to remind all people in terminals and stations to comply with health protocols," he asserted.

In this monitoring, his side also provided free masks to be given to people in the locations.

"I have instructed my subordinates to give the new masks to people whose masks look inadequate and those who don't wear masks," he explained.
