165,135 Tourists Visit Ragunan Zoo from D+1 to D+5 of Eid

As many as 165,135 tourists have visited Ragunan Zoo (TMR), South Jakarta within five days, from Wednesday (5/3) to Saturday (5/8).

The number is predicted to be even higher today

TMR Management Unit Head Endah Rumiyati conveyed that most of the tourists visiting TMR came from the Greater Jakarta and only 10 percent of visitors came from outside of the city.

"We limit visitors to only 75 percent of capacity or 45,000 people a day," she mentioned, Sunday (5/8).

60,362 Tourists Visited Ragunan Zoo in Two Days

She predicted that there would be more tourists visiting TMR today since it was the last day of Eid holiday.

"Yesterday, there were 39,258 tourists visited the zoo. The number is predicted to be even higher today," she said.

Ragunan Zoo is one of the favorite tourist attractions visited by many people during Eid 1443 Hijri holiday. Ticket prices are Rp 3,000 for children and Rp 4,000 for adults.

Before visiting the zoo, people must book the ticket online via Bit.ly/PesantiketTMR a day before arrival.

"Foreigners who want to visit TMR can show their limited stay permit cards (KITAS) to the officers at ticket counters," she explained.
