Thousands of visitors flocked the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village (PBB), Jagakarasa, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/4).

Visitors thronged the east and west side of Setu Babakan to enjoy the food court which sold a variety of Betawi dishes, such as traditional Betawi omelette kerak telor, laksa, soto Betawi (Betawi beef soup), and others.
Some of the visitors lined up to buy a ticket for water bike rides, which was sold for Rp 3,000 for a child and Rp 10,000 for an adult.

Pendi (45), a resident of Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta admitted that he often takes his children on vacation to Setu Babakan to introduce them to Betawi snacks.
"I regularly visit Setu Babakan with my family. We look for Betawi cuisine and invite the children to ride water bikes or delman around the reservoir," he conveyed.
Meanwhile, Ayuk (39), a resident of Bekasi, West Java admitted that he and his family visited Setu Babakan because they could not enter the Ragunan Zoo.
"Initially, we planned to go to the zoo. But I don't know that visitors had to register online a day before arrival. So, I took my family on vacation in Setu Babakan," he explained.
Setu Babakan PBB Management Unit Head Imron said more than 1,000 visitors packed the Setu Babakan Reservoir area until noon.
To make sure visitors' safety and comfort, he deployed tens of personnel around the reservoir area.
"We will hold workshops and Betawi cultural art performances on May 8 and 9," he informed.
