The 15-meter-long water channel on Jalan Murdai 1, RW 06, Cempaka Putih Barat, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta is being repaired.
Cempaka Putih Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Subandi said the repair has been carried out since Tuesday (5/10) and was targeted to be finished next week.

"We send five workers to the location. The progress of the work is about 30 percent," he explained.
Above the channel, they also provided a cover for a concrete plate to make it more aesthetic and could be used to grow plants in pots.
"Hope locals also participate in maintaining and caring for this channel," he hoped.
