1,912 Damaged Road Points Repaired in Central Jakarta

From January-March 2021, the Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has repaired 1,912 damaged road points with a total of 3,965.12 square meters in 8 sub-districts.

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency's Road and Bridge Section Head Yudha Catur Suhartanto explained the 1,912 damaged road points consisted of 387 points in Menteng, 246 points in Kemayoran, 401 points in Tanah Abang, 305 points in Gambir, 160 points in Senen, 196 points in Cempaka Putih, and 55 points in Johar Baru.

The repair was carried out to follow up on the resident's request through CRM, Bina Marga personnel monitoring, and social media monitoring.

"We want to provide security and comfort for road users," he conveyed, Wednesday (5/6).

Those roads were categorized as environmental roads, arterial roads, collector roads, and local roads. The repair was done using a cold mix and hot mix asphalt and tools such as baby rollers, jackhammers, plate compactors, and tamping rammers.

"We deploy around 10 workers for each point. If you see any potholes, please inform us for the safety of all," he stated.
