578 Tourists Swarm Pramuka Island

As many as 578 tourists visited Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, Seribu Islands, on Saturday (5/14).

North Seribu Islands Sub-district Satpol PP Head Edi Syahrudi expressed that until 1 PM, as many as 578 tourists arrived using five boats at Pramuka Island Pier.

According to him, PPKM Level 2 rules in Jakarta are still in effect. That was why strict supervision was needed regarding health protocols, starting from checking vaccine letters from the PeduliLindungi application to wearing masks and washing hands when tourists disembarked and boarded at the pier.

"So far so good, no offense. All passengers are still obeying the regulations but we still urge them not to be careless during their activities in Seribu Islands," he stressed.

As for the information, the joint officers deployed consisted of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, army/police assisted by the Early Awareness Society Forum (FKDM).
