As many as 170 houses in 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta will be renovated this year through South Jakarta Baznas Bazis' house renovation program.

South Jakarta Baznas Bazis Coordinator Head Yasdar conveyed that his side had determined that as many as 170 houses would be renovated in the house renovation program 2022.

"We are currently preparing the stages of house renovation program that will be held in 65 urban villages in South Jakarta," he stated, Wednesday (5/18).

His side had allocated a budget of Rp 8.5 billion for house renovation or 50 million for each house.

"Process to build houses for underprivileged residents in South Jakarta will be carried out in cooperation together with RT/RW administrators and local community," he mentioned.

The number of recipients who would receive house renovation assistance in 2022 was higher than in previous years which was only 120 houses.

"We hope that the home renovation program that is targeted to improve people's welfare can be beneficial for the community," he expressed.
