Jakarta's Car Free Day Returns This Weekend

Jakarta's Car Free Day (CFD) is finally returning for the first time after months of suspension caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It will be held on Sunday (5/22), between 6 AM to 10 AM.

Only sports activities

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head Syafrin Liputo said the Car Free Day this time was limited to outdoor sports only.

"Only sports activities. We'll make sure there is no trading activity. Every participant is required to do a scan on the PeduliLindungi app or at least show a second vaccine certificate," he explained, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Friday (5/20).
