Most enjoy cycling or walking. Even, some bring babies in strollers and their pets.

The obligation to scan the PeduliLindungi application and the health protocol rules is not an obstacle for those who want to exercise this morning.

Tomorrow, CFD in South Jakarta Held on Jalan Sisingamangaraja

One of the CFD participants Annisa Harianti (38), a resident of Setiabudi, South Jakarta expressed that although the number of Covid-19 cases had decreased, vigilance must remain a priority.

"Scan the PelindungiLindungi and maintain a distance is important for mutual comfort while exercising," she explained.

She admitted she enjoyed walking with her family from Setiabudi to Bundaran HI. Moreover, the weather in Jakarta this morning was pretty cool but not too hot.

"Very happy, we can walk without vehicles and free of pollution. It's been a long time since we haven't exercised with my family like this," she admitted.

The same experience was also felt by a resident of Karang Tengah, Tangerang Adji Saputra (28) who admitted that he was very happy to cycle without having to co-exist with a motorized vehicle.

"As long as we obey the rules, this kind of event will continue," he concluded.

Similar statement also came out from Muhammad Tapih, a resident of Maluku Utara who is on duty in Jakarta. Besides reducing air pollution, it also brought happiness to residents.

"So many people are enjoying this day, it can be seen from their happy faces when they take selfies. "Even though I don't live in Jakarta, I can also feel the pleasure of taking a leisurely walk from Sarinah to the Bundaran HI," he stated.

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head Syafrin Liputo urged residents who participated in the CFD to always comply with the applicable rules where 54 barcode scans had been installed in the event area.

"We have mobilized officers to actively launch inspections and surveillance," he uttered.

According to him, activities were restricted to bicycle riding and outdoor exercise, with street vendors prohibited from operating.

"We will evaluate on Tuesday tomorrow, whether there are further activities for next week or not," he closed.
