The Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency has curated MSMEs that will be involved in the forthcoming Jakarta E-Prix 2022 event at the Jakarta Creative Hub (JCH), Central Jakarta.
We invite the best 160 MSMEs to participate in the curation
PPKUKM Agency Head Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said that his party had invited around 160 MSMEs to participate in the curation last Wednesday (5/18).
"We invite the best 160 MSMEs to participate in the curation, and they will be filtered again into the best 100 MSMEs to sell their products at the Formula E event in Jakarta, next June 4. As many as 10 certified curators have also been prepared to select the best products from these SMEs," she explained, in Jakarta, Sunday (5/22), as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

Those who later passed the curation would use QRIS as their payment method. Named QRIS Jakpreneur, the payment system is deemed to make transactions easier. QRIS Jakpreneur can also monitor product sales turnover from each MSME during the event.
"By so, we can monitor the development of the coached MSMEs, both per event and long term, either per event or long term. So, we can make policies that are right on target according to the needs of MSMEs," she added.
As quoted by the qris.id website, QRIS is a National QR code standard that serves to facilitate QR code payments in Indonesia. QRIS (pronounced KRIS) is the unification of various QR codes from several payment system service providers (PJSP) that use QR Codes.
By using QRIS, the payment process via scanning QR codes from various payment platforms only requires one type of QR code. Currently, all payment system service providers that use QR Codes are required to implement QRIS.
Rika, one of the MSMEs for Lung Chips and Fish Skin Chips admitted that she was enthusiastic as she had been included in the curation. She hoped that her products could be chosen to sell at the event.
"I'm very happy to be included in curation. I hope to be selected to participate in sales in the event," she uttered.
Faransyah Agung Jaya as an advisor for Jakarta Formula E hoped that they could take advantage of this moment. Besides boosting turnover, it also improves product quality and selling experience in international arenas.
"After being fluent with digital devices, they also begin to learn to be fluent in foreign languages. Because in this race event, the audience and the committee come from abroad," he added.
As for the information, as many as 100 MSMEs, both dry products such as chips and wet products such as soup dishes, would have a place to sell with complete facilities to serve spectators free of charge.
