TransJakarta Corridor XIII Flyover Physical Construction Starts April 2015

The physical construction of flyover for TransJakarta corridor XIII (Ciledug-Blok M) is ready to begin in April 2015. At this time, the auction process has been completed. The project is divided into eight packages and later the corridor will be equipped with 12 bus stops.

The design is being made now, it takes three months. The groundbreaking is expected in April 2015 and the operational is targeted in 2016

Head of Jakarta Public Works Department, Agus Priyono, said the auction winner cannot immediately carry out the construction because the system used is design-built. It means the auction winner must first make a design of the flyover to be built.

“The design is being made now, it takes three months. The groundbreaking is expected in April 2015 and the operational is targeted in 2016,” he stated, Thursday (12/18).

2015, Transjakarta Bus Stops Equipped with Toilets

According to Priyono, the flyover will be 9-meter wide, 12-20-meter high, and 9.4-kilometer long stretching from Ciledug until Jalan Pierre Tendean. If road ratio additional is needed, the construction is already designed for the road to be widened.

Later, the flyover will pass through nine bus stops, namely Budiluhur University, JORR W2, Swadarma, Cipulir, Seskoal, Carrefour, Kebayoran lama, Taman Puring, MRT Station, Tirtayasa, Rawa Barat, and Trans TV.

“There had been a polemic, whether the flyover intended for TransJakarta bus only or mixed with other vehicles. Finally, we took a decision it is just for TransJakarta bus only,” he uttered.

The budget for this project is Rp 2.5 trillion with details Rp 2.3 trillion for the physical construction and Rp 200 billion for planning consultant, preliminary design, and management consultant. The budget used is multi-year.
