The Jakarta Transportation Council (DTKJ) attended a meeting to continue discussing the application of adding road sections to traffic restrictions with an odd-even system which was held online on Friday (5/27). The meeting made five recommendations.

Jakarta DTKJ Chairman Haris Muhammadun said, the first recommendation, DTKJ together with the community and the community agreed and welcomed the policy of expanding the 25-odd-even roads.

Second, they recommended reactivating Transjakarta service routes, especially those that lead to buffer cities (Bodetabek) to make it easier for people who want to switch to public transportation.

Third, to apply the odd-even system, if the number of ETLE cameras had increased, it was necessary to re-expand the road network for the odd-even system from Gubernatorial Regulation number 88/2019.

"The fourth is activating ERP and the last is DTKJs will help socialize the odd-even system on 25 roads following Gubernatorial Regulation number 88/2019 through their social media," he stated.
