Formula E Prompts Jakarta to Realize Sustainable Transportation and Mobility

"This electric vehicle becomes a realistic alternative to support joint efforts to overcome climate change," he explained.

According to him, it was also momentum for the revival of the economy which was declining due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"As we know, the MSMEs or Jakpreneurs will enliven the race for promoting and marketing local products, including spectators from abroad or from outside Jakarta, this will increase hotel occupancy and restaurant visits," he continued.

As a Betawian figure, he hoped that Betawi culinary and cultural arts could also be displayed during the event.

"It can also be at the hotel where the racers and officials stay. This is a momentum thus our local wisdom can be increasingly recognized by the international community," he stated.
